Charles J. Philactos, of the Bronx, died on Jan 2, 2015, at age 87. Dear brother of Gloria Jakubek and the late George, Alexander and Gregory. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was a longtime civil engineer for the NYC Department of Transportation. Funeral service held at Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church on Bruckner Blvd. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
