Salvatore (Sal) E. Michnowich of Glen Cove, died on June 18, 2013, at age 68. Sal was born in Brooklyn, July 24, 1944. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. After service, he worked as a dispatcher for the Long Island Railroad, while building a career as a Wall Street bond trader. Sal worked at Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney before becoming a prominent trader at Morgan Stanley and retiring as a principal of the corporate bond department.
Sal enjoyed his 13 years of retirement reading and discussing history and politics with his best friends Rick and Jennifer Leff, taking long walks, and with his lovely wife, Marlene, watching the Mets, Jets and Rangers.
